Nintex App Studio tenancy licensing

This topic describes the licensing options.

The number of licensed apps available to a Nintex App Studio tenancy depends on the subscription type. For an Enterprise subscription, unlimited apps are available. For a Standard subscription, the number of licensed apps available is determined by the associated licenses.

What happens if a license expires?

If one or more licenses expire for a Nintex App Studio tenancy and the number of existing apps exceeds the number of licensed apps available, then you are prompted to select apps for licensing when you sign in and select the account. Nintex App Studio cannot be accessed until apps are selected for licensing.

If all licenses expire, then Nintex App Studio can no longer be accessed, and all apps become unlicensed.

What happens when an app becomes unlicensed?

An unlicensed app can no longer be accessed using Nintex App Studio or downloaded by users.

Users who downloaded the app while it was licensed may continue to use it; however, the app can no longer be edited or built.

Can I get my unlicensed apps back?

Yes. Simply purchase more licenses to increase the number of apps that can be licensed. Sign in to view all apps (licensed and unlicensed) and to re-license apps.

What if I purchase more licenses?

If unlicensed apps exist, then at sign-in you are prompted to re-license apps.

How can I purchase more licenses?

To purchase more licenses, contact your Nintex partner or territory manager.
