Connections management page

This topic describes how to add, update, or delete connections that will be used by your App Studio apps.

To access the Connection management page

  1. On the upper right of the home page (to the left of your user name), click Settings.

    The licensing information page appears.

  2. On the left, click Connection management.

    The Connection management page appears, listing the current configured connections (if any).

To add a connection

  1. Access the Connection management page: Click Settings and then click Connection management.
  2. In the Add connection section:
    • Type a display name.
    • Select the connection type.
    • Type the URL.
    • Type a default domain (optional).

  3. To automatically add this connection to new apps, click Mark as default.

    Connections not marked as default can be manually added to new or existing apps.

  4. Click Add.

    The details for the new connection are listed on the page.

To update a connection

Note:  You cannot change a connection's type.

  1. Access the Connection management page: Click Settings and then click Connection management.
  2. In the row of the connection you want to update, click .
  3. In the Edit connection section, update the fields.

  4. Click Add.

    The updated connection is listed on the page.

To delete a connection

  1. Access the Connection management page: Click Settings and then click Connection management.
  2. In the row of the connection you want to delete, click .

    The Delete connection confirmation window appears.

  3. Click OK.
