Mailchimp subscribe to a list

Subscribe the provided email address to a list in Mailchimp. This action sends an email message to the specified user requesting confirmation of the subscription. The user must confirm subscription to be added to the list.

Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
API Key

Specify the Mailchimp API Key.

  1. Open your Mailchimp account, and click on My Account > Account Settings.
  2. Select the Extras tab and click on API keys.
  3. Beneath the Your API keys heading, you may need to create a new key. Click on Create A Key, and an API Key will be generated.
List ID

Specify the List ID.
Email address

Specify the email address.
Email type

Specify the email type preference for the email. Select one of the following items.

  • HTML
  • Text
First name

Specify the first name.
Last name

Specify the last name.
