Build Dictionary

Creates a dictionary variable for use within a workflow.

Action settings

Do one of the following to open the Action configuration window:

  • Double-click the action.
  • Click on the action and then click Configure.

Field Description
Items

Lists the variable items in the dictionary variable by key (name), type, and value.

Add: Adds the following empty fields for defining a new variable item.

  • Key: The name of the variable item to be added.

    Example 1: Key 1

    Example 2: (0)

  • Type: The variable type of the variable item to be added. Select one of the following options.
    • Text
    • Boolean
    • Date/Time
    • GUID
    • Number
    • Integer
    • Dictionary

  • Value: The default value of the variable item to be added.

    Example 1: Hello

    Example 2: ‌‌‍{Current Item:Email Address}‍
Output

Specify the workflow variable to store the output of this action.
