K2 connect Server Service Timeout Error

Timeout errors can occur on K2 connect Server Service operations such as stopping and starting the service, for example during the publishing of a Service Object. The default timeout value of 15 seconds can be changed in the ServiceTimeout key found in the registry. The location for the ServiceTimeout key is:

• On a 32-Bit Server: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > SourceCode > connect > Configuration
• On a 64-Bit Server: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > SourceCode > connect > Configuration

Double click the ServiceTimeout key and change the value to a higher number in seconds. Retry the operation that failed with the timeout error.
