K2 connect for SAP is an add on component and leverages an existing K2 blackpearl installation as the base prerequisite for K2 connect. K2 connect for SAP requires K2 blackpearl 4.6.11 or greater as a base prerequisite along with the additional prerequisites discussed in this section.
Certain dependencies are not redistributable directly, and must be obtained from the third party vendor. See the Software section for further details.

When installing a single server environment, it is recommended that more RAM and a larger processor be installed for better system performance.
K2 connect for SAP will install once the minimum installation requirements are met. See the table below for detailed information on software requirements.

Every K2 connect Server is installed on the same physical machine as the K2 blackpearl Server and each of them must be licensed. The K2 connect client tools do not require a license, but they require a connection to a licensed K2 connect Server before the user can view SAP BAPIs and publish Service Objects.
The K2 connect for SAP license is a standalone license, and licenses a K2 connect for SAP instance only.

The SAP Netweaver RFC Libraries are not redistributable from SourceCode Technology Holdings, Inc and must be obtained from services.sap.com.
The SAP Netweaver RFC Libraries zip file consists of following dlls:
Once downloaded the new NetWeaver RFC libraries copy the dlls to the respective locations. The zip files for each architecture (64 and 32 bit) contains 6 files. All 6 files need to be copied over.
For 64-bit machines - Copy the x64 SAP Netweaver RFC Libraries to the C:\Windows\System32 folder, and copy the x32 SAP Netweaver RFC Libraries to the C:\Windows\SysWOW64.
