Manage External Start configuration page

This topic describes the selections on the Manage External Start configuration page. Use this page to generate and manage External Start endpoint URLs for a selected workflow. For instructions on adding, deleting, disabling, enabling, and copying endpoint URLs and security keys, see Using External Start

Note: To view endpoint URLs across the farm, access the External start URLs page from Central Administration. For more information, see External Start URLs page.

Steps to access this page​

To access the Manage External Start configuration page
  1. Access the Manage External Start page using one of the following methods. 
    • ​​Click the Settings icon on the upper right of the page, select Nintex Workflow 2013, and then select Manage External Start
    • On the Site Settings page, in the Nintex Workflow section, click Manage External Start.
  2. On the Manage External Start page, click Configure for the workflow of interest. 
    The Manage External Start configuration page for the selected workflow is displayed. The selected workflow is indicated in the page title. 

Page reference

The Manage External Start configuration page lists endpoint URLs for the workflow indicated in the page titleEach row represents a single endpoint URL. The page contains columns as well as buttons and links.

Column descriptions

This section describes the columns and their contents.
ColumnDescription
Internal URL name for reference​Optional name specified for the endpoint URL.
Status​Endpoint URL enabled/disabled status. 
URL and security keyView details button to display ​the endpoint URL and security key for viewing and copying. 
CallsNumber of calls to the endpoint URL.​
Last called​Date and time of last call to the endpoint URL.
Created by​Username used to create the endpoint URL.
Created​Date and time when the endpoint URL was created. 
DeleteX (Delete) button to permanently remove the endpoint URL from storage. 

Button and link descriptions​

This section describes buttons and links outside the columns.
Button/linkDescription
Enable selected​Enables all selected endpoint URLs (rows). 
Disable selected​Disables all selected endpoint URLs (rows).
Delete selectedDeletes all selected endpoint URLs (rows).
Add URL​Generates a new endpoint URL for the workflow.
SaveSaves changes to endpoint URL configuration.
