Scanning barcodes

You can scan barcodes to retrieve data for the related field in the form.

The following barcode formats are supported.

• UPC-A and UPC-E

• EAN-8 and EAN-13

• Code 39

• Code 93

• Code 128

• ITF

• Codabar

• RSS-14 (all variants)

• QR Code

• Data Matrix

• Aztec ("beta" quality)

• PDF 417 ("alpha" quality)

To scan a barcode

1. Tap (Tap to scan).

   Your device's camera function is activated.

2. Position the camera viewfinder over the barcode.

   The message "Scanning..." confirms that scanning is occurring. When the scan is complete, the data appears in the field.

   Note: Successful barcode scanning depends on proximity to the barcode, lighting, and device. When scanning in portrait mode, some devices may require the barcode to be horizontal.
