Add a file menu item
This topic describes how to add a file menu items.
Add menu file items to manage the content delivered with the app. The custom content is built with the app and deployed to the users. App users can access the content offline using the customized menu items.
For example, you have a medical team out in the field. There is no internet connection, but they need access to compiled research PDFs. The team opens the app and taps on the PDF menu item to read the necessary files distributed with the app.
To add a file menu item

On the app page, click Content.

Click to open the Add menu item dialog box.

In the Icon field, select an icon to visually represent your menu item.
The image description is not visible in the app.
For example, the image description "PDF" is not visible with the icon.

In the Name field, enter a name for the menu item.
The name is visible in the app with the menu item.
For example, "Research for field testing".

In the Type field, select Content to upload files to your app.
- Click Add.

Click Add content to open the Content dialog box.

Drag and drop or click Upload to add images, videos, and documents to the menu item.

Click OK .
The type and number of files are visible on the app page.
